Kelly Ripa had to leave halfway through Tuesday mornings show of Live with Regis & Kelly because she was not feeling good. Most who were watching the show could tell that Kelly was not her usual cheery attitude on the show. She was very quiet and soft spoken. The program was being broadcast outdoors from the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. She made it through the opening segment and the first interview but had to leave after that about halfway through the show.
Kelly’s rep said it was a little case of the flu and that with the weather outside as warm as it was she just couldn’t handle being outside anymore.
Regis was ready to make his comments on the next days show when she returned.
“I’ve got my own theories, and let me tell you: She’s pregnant again!” Philbin joked at the beginning of the program, adding, “I’ve been through it twice now!”
Ripa, 37, was quick to squash that rumor. “No, no,” she said. “That would be nice, though. Wouldn’t that be nice?”
Sorry, no kids for Ripa at this point in time.
