It looks like the fires in Malibu are still roaring in California today. So far 2,220 acres have burned and 35 homes have been destroyed by the fires which are continuing to move west.

It looks like the stars aren’t escaping this fire either. It has been reported that Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers has already lost his home to the fires in Malibu and Matthew McConaughey and Minnie Driver have been asked to evacuate their homes.

After last months fires in California that took the lives of 14 people it looks like fires have started up again in Malibu. The culprit this time appears to be the dry Santa Ana winds that begin this morning around 3:30AM and have destroyed nearly 400 acres of land so far.

So far the fire has not been contained and 200 firefighters are currently on the scene working to control this fire. About 200 homes have been evacuated so far with more to be expected as the wildfire continues to spread.
